| This page provides a collection of 10-degree wide index images of the SDSS survey region. Object locations from the catalogs used in this atlas are shown for reference. Survey images are made from actual views through the 2.5 meter telescope used in the survey. These index images were created for quick browsing of NGC objects within the surveyed sky area. The appropriate list of credits for the SDSS data is available from the SDSS website. Please observe their generous data usage policies. |

These tools were used to create the NGC image gallery on this website, picked out of the 10-degree index images. Index images are 1600x1200 at a scale of 22.5 arc-sec/pixel.
